Chery FX EV – overview

Chery FX EV is an electric version of the compact crossover Chery FX, introduced in China in 2022 (in other markets it is called Omoda 5 EV). The coupe-like silhouette and sides of the electric FX EV are similar to the gasoline crossover, but at the front there is a solid X-shaped panel and thinner running lights. All LED optics are already “in the base”. The interior of the electric car also received a number of changes: the gear shift lever was moved to the steering wheel, touch buttons were added to the steering wheel, and a combined display of two 12.3-inch screens for instruments and multimedia was installed on the front panel. The standard equipment included a 50 W smartphone charging panel, several USB connectors and many electronic assistants. Top versions include electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats, a viewing camera, ambient lighting and an 8-speaker Sony audio system. In Israel, the Chery FX EV is offered with one electric motor on the front axle with an output of 204 hp. and 347 Nm. A traction battery with a capacity of 61 kWh provides a range of 430 km. The electric crossover accelerates to the first hundred in 7.6 seconds. A home AC charger with a power of up to 9.9 kW allows you to fully charge an electric car in 8 hours. 110 kW DC fast charging takes the charge from 20% to 80% in 28 minutes.
