Installation of the automotive acoustic system involves the installation of additional speakers and a subwoofer, replacement of the car stereo, and, as a rule, noise and vibration isolation of doors and other surfaces. The speakers are mainly installed on the doors. The subwoofer is usually installed in the trunk compartment or in the back of the rear seat.
