The Fiat Titano is a mid-size body-on-frame pickup truck with a single- or double-row cab, introduced in 2023. The new product, addressed to the markets of Latin America and Africa, was not developed from scratch: it is a slightly redesigned version of the 2020 Peugeot Landtrek pickup truck, which in turn is a variation of the Chinese Changan Hunter model. In the cabin, only the steering wheel hub pad and display graphics have been changed. There are no technical differences either. But different variants of the Fiat Titano have been prepared for the two launch markets. In Algeria, the pickup truck is offered with a Chinese 1.9-liter turbodiesel (150 hp and 350 Nm) and a manual transmission, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The basic version for Africa has a single-row cab. In Brazil, the Titano is equipped with a French 2.2-liter turbodiesel (180 hp and 370-400 Nm), with a manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The drive is only four-wheel drive, with a rigidly connected front axle and a locking rear differential. All versions have a 4-door, two-row cab.
