Hongqi EH7 is a full-size electric sedan, the first representative of the new Hongqi sub-brand called New Energy, released in March 2024. The design of Hongqi EH7 is fundamentally different from traditional Hongqi models: a blank panel instead of a vertical grille, a different emblem, L-shaped front and rear optics. The minimalistically designed interior has a combined virtual instrument display (6 inches) and a multimedia touchscreen (15.5 inches). The equipment includes a head-up display, a facial recognition system and an autopilot. Two versions are offered: with one electric motor and rear-wheel drive and two motors and all-wheel drive. Acceleration to “hundreds” in the most powerful version takes 3.5 seconds. Depending on the battery capacity and the type of drive, on one charge the sedan will be able to travel 690-820 km (with rear-wheel drive) or 640-760 km (with all-wheel drive).
