Autocars Sussita 12 - الكتالوج والمواصفات الفنية
Autocars Sussita 12 is a modernized version of the Sussita model, produced by the Israeli company Autocars from 1964 to 1970. It was offered in the following body styles: 2-door station wagon, 2-door sedan (Carmel), 4-door sedan (Gilboa) and Sussita 1300 pickup. However, most often the name Sussita 12 means station wagon. Externally, the car was slightly redesigned to make it more similar to the Carmel model, although in essence it was still a four-wheeled “clone” of the three-wheeled British model Reliant Regal with a body made of fiberglass. With fairly compact dimensions (length 4000 mm, wheelbase 2300 mm), the Autocars Sussita 12 could accommodate five riders, had decent luggage space, was distinguished by its simplicity of design and high-quality engines, so it was in good demand among buyers. Front engine, rear wheel drive. Initially, an in-line 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 1200 cm3 and a power of 45-47 hp was installed, borrowed from the Ford Cortina, which accelerated the car to a maximum of 130 km/h. Later, the Gilboa 4-door sedan received a 1500 cm3 Ford engine. From 1968 to 1970, station wagons and sedans used the Triumph Herald 12/50 engine.
