Autocars Sussita 13/60 - الكتالوج والمواصفات الفنية

Autocars Sussita 13/60 is a compact passenger car produced since 1970 as a 2-door station wagon, 2-door sedan (called Carmel Ducas) and pickup. After the bankruptcy of Autocars in 1970, the assembly lines of the first Israeli automaker were acquired by Rom Carmel Industries, which began producing modernized models inherited from Autocars. The appearance of Sussita 13/60 was preceded by the signing of an agreement with the British manufacturer Standard-Triumph. Therefore, the new car was based on the chassis from the Triumph Herald, a small 2-door car with a design developed by the Italian Giovanni Michelotti. Although essentially the Sussita 13/60 was a new generation of the Sussita model, which featured good visibility from the driver's seat and a redesigned interior, it still offered two doors and up to five seats. The car received components, a gearbox (5-speed manual) and engines from an advanced version of the Triumph Herald 13/60: the engine capacity was increased to 1296 cm3, the power was increased to 61 hp. s., although there were more productive options with 79 horsepower. Rom Carmel continued to produce Sussita 13/60 until 1978.
