Renault Boreal is a new mid-size 5-seater crossover Renault, debuted in July 2025. The back of the rear sofa is divided in a 40:60 ratio. The trunk volume is 522 liters according to the VDA method, with the second row folded, the compartment holds up to 1279 liters. The rich trim levels include a panoramic sunroof, massage in the front seats, a wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring. The base version of the Renault Boreal is equipped with a 1.3-liter gasoline turbocharged four-cylinder paired with a 6-speed EDC robotic gearbox with two clutches and front-wheel drive. Engine settings vary depending on the market. 138 hp and 240 Nm or 156 hp and 270 Nm. A hybrid unit with all-wheel drive will appear later.
