Stelato is a new Chinese car brand created by the IT giant Huawei in partnership with the automaker BAIC (more precisely, their subsidiaries - BAIC BluePark and Harmony Intelligent Mobility Allianc). Huawei adheres to a multi-brand approach and collaborates with several large automakers: the AITO brand was created together with Seres, and Luxeed was launched together with Chery. The new brand, whose name means “starry sky” in Chinese, is intended exclusively for premium electric vehicles. The first model of the Stelato brand will be the large and luxurious electric sedan S9, designed specifically for VIP passengers. Expensive materials were used in the interior decoration. Separate “captain’s” chairs in the second row were equipped with retractable footrests, ventilation, massage and all kinds of adjustments. The brand also has export plans, but the exact geography of sales has not yet been announced; the countries of Europe and Asia are named as priorities.
