The JAC iC5 is the electric version of the Jiayue A5, available from 2021. The stylish electric liftback is produced in China by a joint venture between JAC Volkswagen Automotive Co. In terms of size, the electric car is almost no different from the gasoline source: length - 4770 mm (-2 mm), wheelbase - 2760 mm. They didn’t change their already stylish appearance much. The interior has been revised, increasing the dashboard to 10.25 inches and expanding the list of basic equipment. The 10.4-inch multimedia system has not been touched, it is the same as that of the petrol version. Rich designs offer voice control and 64 shades of ambient lighting. The output of the single electric motor is 204 hp. and 340 Nm, so the JAC iC5 exchanges the first “hundred” in 7.6 seconds. A battery with a capacity of 64.5 kW/h is enough for 530 km of range (according to the outdated Chinese NEDC cycle).
