Jaecoo J7 is a compact crossover with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, the first-born of the new premium brand Jaecoo, formed by the Chinese auto giant Chery specifically for export markets. The world premiere took place in the spring of 2023 at the Shanghai Auto Show. The car entered the Chinese market under the name Chery Explore 06. The crossover was endowed with a brutal appearance and the ability to overcome light off-road conditions. The salon is designed for five passengers. In front of the driver is a 10.25-inch digital dashboard, with a huge multimedia monitor in the center (13.2 or 14.8 inches, depending on the configuration). At the first stage, the Jaecoo J7 will be offered with a 1.6-liter turbo engine, but later they promise plug-in hybrid and all-electric versions.
