Onvo L60 is a mid-size electric crossover with a coupe-like silhouette, introduced in May 2024. The first-born of the new Onvo brand created by NIO is modeled after the Tesla Model Y: they have a similar format, size and frameless doors. Nio's corporate style has been preserved, but the front part with two-level optics of the crossover is original. The aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.229 versus 0.23 for Tesla. There is no separate screen for instruments, instead there is a 13-inch head-up display and a central 17.2-inch multimedia touchscreen. Another 8-inch screen is designed for second-row passengers. The electrical system operates at 900 volts, and in terms of energy efficiency the Chinese cross-coupe should surpass the American crossover: the average electricity consumption on the CLTC cycle is only 12.1 kW/h per 100 km (versus 12.5 for the Model Y). Onvo L60 received dual-motor all-wheel drive and batteries with a capacity of 75, 100 or 150 kW/h. The rated range is 555, 730 and 1000 km.
