The Volvo ES90 is a full-size, all-electric liftback presented on March 5, 2025. Production is set up in China. The new flagship of the brand's passenger car range will complement the fuel-powered S90. In terms of dimensions (the length is 5,000 mm, the wheelbase is 3,102 mm), the electric car turned out to be larger than the fuel-powered sedan. The creators themselves call the ES90 a car that "combines the refined elegance of a sedan, the adaptability of a fastback, spacious interior and high ground clearance, typical of SUVs". The exterior is designed in a trendy style: a smooth “nose”, signature “Thor’s hammer” running lights, retractable door handles and C-shaped taillights. The drag coefficient: Cd = 0.25. The standard equipment includes a panoramic roof with auto-dimming. Ground clearance varies from 177 to 184 mm. Trunk volume: from 446 to 1256 liters. There is an additional 22-liter compartment under the hood. Traditional minimalism and touch screens reign in the Volvo ES90 interior. In front of the driver are digital 9-inch instruments, in the center is a large vertical 14.5-inch multimedia tablet. The list of equipment includes wireless charging for a smartphone, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, 4-zone climate control, advanced contour lighting and enhanced sound insulation of the cabin, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring systems. The liftback is built on an 800-volt electrical system. In 10 minutes at a fast charging station, you can replenish the power reserve by 300 km. Three modifications of the Volvo ES90 are offered, with rear or all-wheel drive. The maximum speed for all is limited to 180 km / h. The top version, which is equipped with air suspension as standard, accelerates to the first “hundred” in 4 seconds.
