The Weltmeister W5 (WM W5) is a compact electric crossover, the first model of the Chinese company WM Motor. First introduced in December 2017, sales began in February 2019. WM Motors export models are sold under the Weltmeister brand and have recently undergone full European standardization. The linear design of the Weltmeister W5 is made in a minimalist style; the crossover is distinguished by strict lines and precise aerodynamics. The salon is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch touch screen. There is an OTA update option, voice control and an application for remote control from a smartphone. The media system display can have both horizontal and vertical orientation. The base version features a single electric motor on the front axle, but with a choice of two batteries. The manufacturer promises to retain 95% of the battery capacity after 160,000 km.
