Body painting can be carried out if the old coating is clearly worn out or it is necessary after an accident. Before proceeding with the painting, all elements that should not be painted are removed. Car painting is carried out in five main stages: washing and cleaning the body, removing and cleaning rust, matting, filling and sanding, priming and re-sanding and painting the body itself. The procedure for painting the body is usually as follows: first, the roof is painted, then the front fenders, the hood lid, the doors, the rear fenders and the trunk lid.
