It may be required to repair the electric steering rack in the presence of the following signs: knocking sounds coming from the suspension on bumpy roads, no resistance in the steering wheel, jamming of the steering wheel in the extreme position. The general repair procedure includes dismantling the electric amplifier, its complete disassembly and visual diagnostics. After that, adjustments, polishing or replacement of parts are performed. Assembly and installation of the unit are carried out in the reverse order.
