GAC Motor, muffler corrugation replacement in Rehovot.
The muffler corrugation needs to be replaced in the presence of the following signs: tinkling, rattling and other unusual noises, odor in the passenger compartment, smoke from the bottom of the vehicle. The corrugation replacement procedure may include the following stages: removing the fastenings of the receiver tube and the manifold, disconnecting other exhaust pipe fasteners, cutting out the corrugation with a special tool, removing the remaining old welded seam, disassembling the section of the exhaust duct of the muffler with the damaged corrugation, cleaning the cut points, installing a new corrugation and fixing it by welding.
