The drive belt pulley needs to be replaced in the presence of the following symptoms: dim headlights and dashboard indicators; unstable interior heating operation; increased intervals in the operation of wipers and turn signals; unusual sounds coming from the generator belt tensioners; vibration of the pulley when the engine is on. To replace the pulley, de-energize the car, remove the fastener to loosen and remove the drive belt, remove the fastening of the pulley and dismantle it. Install a new pulley.
