KG Musso EV is the first electric pickup truck of the Korean automaker KG Mobility (former SsangYong) and the first model of the new sub-brand created exclusively for pickups. Initially, the Musso name was borne by a frame SUV SsangYong, produced from 1993 to 2005. In 2002, a pickup truck with a double cabin was made on its basis. However, after SsangYong rebranded and transformed into KG Mobility (KGM), a separate family of “formidable rhinoceroses” was created from Musso, and its first representative will be the KG Musso EV. The electric pickup truck with a monocoque body debuted as a concept back in 2023. Very little is known about the electric Musso EV yet. According to preliminary data, the pickup truck is based on the KG Mobility Torres EVX electric crossover, which is equipped with a 207-horsepower electric motor and a 73.4 kWh battery. The presentation of the new product will be held before the end of the first quarter of 2025.
