The GMC Yukon XL is a full-size 3-row SUV, a stretched version of the Chevrolet Suburban. More status and expensive versions of the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban SUVs are traditionally sold in America under the name GMC Yukon. All versions are equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Simple versions are offered with rear-wheel drive, while top-end ones are equipped with all-wheel drive with a clutch in the front wheel drive and a reduction gear. An electronically controlled rear differential lock can be ordered separately. The maximum towed trailer weight is 3810 kg.
