Chrome plating of plastic parts improves their appearance and durability. The general chromium plating procedure is as follows: preparation of chemical reagents, spraying the activator on the surface of the element, rinsing the plastic with distilled water to remove excess activator, applying a thin chrome layer to the wet surface, re-rinsing after metallization, drying the metal layer.
