It may be required to repair the evaporator in the presence of the following signs: the presence of an unpleasant odor in the passenger compartment, which appears immediately after turning on the air conditioning system and disappears shortly after turning it off, the appearance of water in the passenger compartment, a decrease in the performance of the air conditioning system. To replace the evaporator, remove the heater block, which is located behind the dashboard. In order to replace the evaporator, disassemble the dashboard, remove the evaporator mounts and the unit. After that, install a new evaporator block. At the end of the procedure, check the state of the system.
