The AC 378 GT Zagato is a sports car designed by the Italian design studio Zagato and built in South Africa by Hi-Tech Automotive. The model was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and its sales began at the end of the same year. The car was equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine from General Motors with an output of 437 hp, borrowed from the Chevrolet Camaro, and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Weighing 1,465 kg, the sports car accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds, developing a top speed of around 296 km/h. The car did not have any electronic driver assistance systems, and its elegant, swift body was admired for its outlines.
