Acura SLX – overview
The Acura SLX is an SUV sold in the United States from 1995 to 1999. In 2001, it was replaced by the MDX SUV. Essentially, the vehicle was a slightly modernized Isuzu Trooper to the taste of Honda specialists. The format, atypical for the Acura brand, differed from the original model by the absence of a manual gearbox and less powerful engines. The SLX was offered only with a 3.2-liter V6 engine, then switching to a new 3.5-liter engine. However, the SUV failed to become popular.
