Acura ZDX – overview
The Acura ZDX is a luxury mid-size SUV with a coupe-like profile, produced in 2009-2013. The manufacturer positioned it as a "luxury 4-door sports coupe", clearly opposing it to the main competitor, BMW X6. Interestingly, the SUV concept was developed by novice designer Michelle Christensen. The ZDX is built on the same platform as the Honda Pilot and Acura MDX. The all-wheel drive 4-door coupe-like SUV was powered by a 3.7-liter engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
