The Alfa Romeo GTV is a sports car produced in coupe and convertible bodies by Alfa Romeo (Italy) from 1995 to 2005. It is known as the 916 series. It was named in honor of the Alfetta GTV coupe that was discontinued a long time. The car was a 2+2 coupe. The 2-seater convertible version of the GTV was called the Spider. The Pininfarina design studio worked on the appearance of the car, and they were inspired by the Fiat Tipo 2 front-wheel drive platform.
