Alpina D10 - catalog and technical specifications

The Alpina D10 is a premium sedan or 5-door estate produced by the German company Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen from 1999 to 2003. A total of 239 such cars were manufactured. The model was based on the BMW 530d (E39) diesel model. The body and interior were modernized, and the 2.9-liter engine was boosted to 245 hp. The components and parts of the chassis, tires, wheels and other elements were redesigned to work in high-speed mode. The maximum speed of the upgraded sedan was 254 km/h, while it took the car 7.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h for the versions with manual transmissions and 6.8 seconds for the versions with automatic transmissions. The D10 featured the front bumper with the Alpina logo, a spoiler on the trunk lid, gold or silver-colored elements on the body sides, branded wheels and nameplates with the model name.
