Alpha T5

Arcfox Alpha T5 - catalog and technical specifications

Arcfox Alpha T5 is a mid-size electric crossover, the younger “brother” of the large Alpha T crossover. It was first introduced at the end of 2023 by the Chinese automaker BAIC Motor under the Arcfox brand. The 4.7-meter car was endowed with streamlined shapes, sharply defined relief lines and retractable door handles. The aggressively shaped headlights are connected by a black decorative stripe. The front bumper has been expanded with air intakes. At the rear there is a sports diffuser with a central triangular lamp. On the side, the lining on the arches, red brake calipers, and black rear roof pillars stand out. The minimalist interior lacks the usual instrument cluster - all data is displayed on the central 15.6-inch multimedia touch screen. Top trim levels feature a head-up display. There are practically no physical buttons. The interior decoration uses a two-color scheme. The trunk holds 400 liters. The Arcfox Alpha T5 platform was developed jointly with Magna. The body uses hot-formed steel (more than 30%), which guarantees high torsional rigidity. Comprehensive passenger protection and compliance with European safety standards are provided by dual front airbags, side airbags and window curtains, a standard set of active safety systems and modern driver assistance systems. Buyers are offered two versions: with a single electric motor on the front axle with 252 or 272 hp. The battery comes in two options: 65 kW/h lithium iron phosphate with a maximum charging power of 160 kW or triple lithium 79.2 kW/h with a charging power of 260 kW. The high-voltage system allows you to replenish the range by 260 km in just 10 minutes. Charging from 30% to 80% takes approximately 20 minutes. The maximum speed is 180 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 7.5 seconds. The power reserve, depending on the version, reaches 520 and 660 km.
