Aston Martin DB AR1 - catalog and technical specifications
Produced from 2003 to 2004, the unique roadster Aston Martin DB AR1 was created by Aston Martin in collaboration with Zagato. "AR1" stands for "American Roadster 1". Given the name, it is clear that it was designed exclusively for the US market. The body of the car, made by Zagato based on the legendary DB7, was completely devoid of a rooftop. The most powerful model was equipped with a 6-liter V12 engine with a capacity of 435 hp. The maximum speed of the DB AR1 was 299 km/h, whereas acceleration to 100 km/h occurred in 4.9 seconds. A total of 99 cars were produced.
