Aston Martin Tickford Capri – overview
The Aston Martin Tickford Capri is a rear-wheel drive C-segment coupe produced from 1982 to 1985. Despite being based on the Ford Capri, the Tickford Capri had a true sporty character. The model was designed by Phillip Clark, who also designed the famous Mustang. The car received an upgraded suspension with lower road clearance and reinforced elements, which provided more sensitive sports handling. The coupe featured an 8-cylinder V-engine with 208 hp. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurred in 6.4 seconds, which was a pretty good indicator back then.
