Audi Typ R – overview
The Audi Type R is a large, well-built, reliable, fast and expensive car produced by Audi from 1928 to 1932. From a technical point of view, the luxurious Type R embodied the highest level of automotive industry achievement of that time: an eight-cylinder engine with 100 hp accelerated the convertible to 110 km/h, which was fantastic for that time! The second name of the R model was "Imperator" with an eye to originality.
