Audi V8 – overview
The Audi V8 is a luxury car produced by Audi AG (Germany) from 1988 to 1994. It came to replace the Audi 200, from which it borrowed a large number of components and assemblies. The name "V8" denoted a V-shaped engine that had 8 cylinders. All cars had an all-wheel drive system, were spacious, well-equipped and expensively finished. The floor was thickly carpeted, walnut inlays adorned the front panel, and the seats were upholstered in real leather. In 1994, the V8 was replaced by the Audi A8.
