Bentley Blower Continuation Series - catalog and technical specifications
The Bentley Blower Continuation Series is a modern copy of the legendary Bentley sports model of the 1920-1930s. In December 2020, Mulliner design studio announced the release of 12 cars made in the image and likeness of the Bentley 4½ Litre. It did not have high-profile sports victories, but it broke several speed records. In 1932, the Blower No.1 Monoposto accelerated to 222 km/h on the English Brooklands track. 1,846 parts and components, including an engine, were re-manufactured for the replica. The modern 4-seater car featured an interior trimmed with leather and corrugated aluminum, a 4.5-liter engine with a compressor with 240 hp, accelerating to 209 km/h. The car was equipped with a 3-speed manual non-synchronized transmission, leaf spring suspension, power steering and drum brakes. But the model is distinguished by the stunning appearance that came from another era.
