BMW 2000 C/CS generations
The BMW 2000C/CS was positioned as a luxury version of the BMW New Class (Neue Klasse). The New Class cars were intended to overcome the financial crisis of the company in the late 1950s and showcased BMW's ability to develop sports sedans for everyday use. Produced from 1965 to 1970, the BMW 2000C/CS featured a distinctive exterior with a memorable and even iconic front end. It was also considered the most efficient sedan of its time, with better handling, an optimal combination of power and dynamic characteristics.
