BMW 327 – overview
The BMW 327 is a mid-size 2-door grand tourer, coupe or convertible, produced from 1937 to 1941 and after 1945 (but as an EMW, not a BMW). The 327 is built on a shortener chassis of the BMW 326, which was very advanced for its time, so both models were technically close. But the 327 engine received a higher compression ratio and therefore became more powerful.
