The BMW M6 is a high-performance version of the 6 Series that comes in coupe, convertible and fastback bodies. It was produced from 1984 to 2018 and in many ways ensured the cult status of the BMW 6 Series. The M6 was developed in response to the demand for everyday cars with an engine and options close to professional sports cars. Over the decades, the M6 has evolved constantly and by the end of its history has become an almost flawless premium car.
