BYD F3 – overview
The BYD F3 is a compact car very similar to the 12th generation Toyota Corolla. The car debuted in September 2005, and was restyled in 2014 and 2016. Throughout its existence, the model range was expanded with several new modifications, including a hybrid version, F3DM. In addition, the 4-cylinder Mitsubishi 4G series engine with a volume of 1.5 and 1.6 liters was replaced with a 1.5-liter unit produced by the manufacturer. Plus, there was also a turbocharged version with 151 hp. The second generation was sold in parallel with the first and was equipped with the same engines. In 2021, production ended when the company decided to switch to electric vehicles.
