BYD F6 – overview
The BYD F6 is a mid-size sedan produced from 2007 to 2012. The car received an unusual exterior, made up of design solutions from other models, which was quite typical for that time. It was given Mitsubishi-designed engines with volumes ranging from 2 to 2.4 liters and two transmissions to choose from: a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Plus, the manufacturer tried to create a hybrid version of the model, the F6DM prototype was even shown at the 2008 North American International Auto Show.
