Cadillac ELR – overview
The Cadillac ELR is a luxury coupe with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, produced from 2013 to 2016 by Cadillac. The car had an original appearance, whereas the joint operation of two electric motors at low speeds made it possible to increase the driving range up to 56-64 km. The hybrid coupe shared a power drive scheme with the Chevrolet Volt, but was equipped with a larger battery and a more powerful traction motor. The Cadillac model allowed the driver to press the stalk lever for forced energy recovery. Unfortunately, the Cadillac ELR was not in high demand due to its high cost.
