Chevrolet Corvair - catalog and technical specifications
The Chevrolet Corvair is GM’s compact car produced from 1960 to 1969 in two generations. The model was available in a record number of versions: hardtop, 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe, convertible, 4-door estate, passenger and commercial van, pickup and others. The name "Corvair" is a union between two names “Corvette + Bel Air”, which was supposed to demonstrate the combination of technologies from both cars in the new model. By the way, the Corvair is still the only mass-produced American-designed passenger car with a rear-mounted air-cooled engine.
