Chevrolet Metro – overview
The Chevrolet Metro is nothing more than the Geo Metro (nearly identical to the Suzuki Cultus) developed jointly by GM and Suzuki. The subcompact car was produced as Geo Metro from 1989 to 1997, after which it turned into Chevy Metro and was produced from 1998 to 2001. Nevertheless, the small, unremarkable little car was remembered not only for its low price, but also for the lowest fuel consumption among gasoline cars in the United States at the time.
