Chrysler Dynasty – overview
The Chrysler or Dodge Dynasty is a mid-size front-wheel drive sedan produced by Chrysler Corporation’s Dodge division from 1988 to 1993. The Chrysler Dynasty was sold in Canada and Mexico. There is a legend that the model was named in honor of the television series “Dynasty” (ABC) popular in the 1980s. It is unknown whether it is true or not. The car featured a very conservative, simplistic styling loved by the former CEO of Chrysler, Lee Iacocca. Therefore, the Dynasty did not look better than its more modern and aerodynamic competitors. But, even despite this, the car became very popular for its time.
