Chrysler LHS – overview

The Chrysler LHS is a full-size luxury sedan produced by Chrysler from 1993 to 2001 as a replacement to the seemingly permanent Imperial, which was the company's flagship model. In 2002, it received was named Chrysler Concord Limited. The most expensive representative of the LH platform had a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. Unlike the New Yorker sedan, the LHS featured separate seats, an extensive list of basic options, a 5-seat interior and a "sportier" look. The first generation was delivered to Europe, differing mainly in optics, modified according to European standards. Even Top Gear host, Jeremy Clarkson, known for his negative attitude towards American cars, described the LHS as a car as "by global standards, right up there with the best".
