Chrysler Nassau – overview

Unveiled at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, the Chrysler Nassau concept car was actually an experiment by the company's designers in the field of a slightly forgotten "shooting brake" body type. However, the Chrysler Nassau was built on the platform borrowed from the 300C model and was a large 5-door hatchback. The car looked more elegant than its European competitors and more like a trendy 4-door coupe. The Nassau was equipped with a 6.1-liter V8 engine from the 300C SRT-8 model with a capacity of 425 hp. The car was rear-wheel drive, which was very unusual for a hatchback. It was equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The car accelerated to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds, while the maximum speed was a very impressive 265 km/h. The car was never mass-produced.
