Citroen AX - catalog and technical specifications
The Citroën AX is a city car produced by the French manufacturer Citroën from 1986 to 1999. Originally a 3-door hatchback, it is famous for being the second most produced Citroën after the 2CV, with 2.5 million units produced. The car was well received by the public, which is why the manufacturer released a 5-door version in September 1987. In 1988, the AX took second place in the European Car of the Year category, and it became the second best-selling car in France in 1990. The production of the model ended in 1999.
