The Citroën CX is a luxury car produced and sold by Citroën from 1974 to 1991. A rare fastback limousine had front-wheel drive and rich advanced equipment. The CX also became famous for its hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension and low drag coefficient, which was emphasized by its name CX. This is how the drag coefficient is denoted in aerodynamics. The CX is recognized as the "European Car" of 1975, and the fans of the brand considered it the last real Citroën, as Peugeot took control of the company in 1976. The CX was also called the last successful model of the "big Citroën era" (since 1934). The model became very successful, and the world saw two generations of this model.
