Citroen GS generations
The Citroën GS is a compact car produced by the French automaker Citroën in 1970-1986. Sedans and estates were produced from 1970 to 1980, whereas liftbacks and estates under the GSA name were produced in 1979-1986. In 1971, the GS was named European Car of the Year. At the start of its production, it was the most technologically advanced car in its class. The car featured a hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension, was equipped with a boxer engine, an aerodynamic body and a large trunk. The GS became so popular that it was launched not only in France, but also in other countries conquered by it.
