Dacia 1310 – overview
The Dacia 1310 – an updated version of the popular 1300 model, introduced in 1979. Sedans, vans, and station wagons were produced at the Romanian factory until 1989, while pickups and liftbacks were manufactured until 1990. Only the hatchbacks survived until 2004. The family's further history is a true race for progress, albeit not very successful, much like the entire socialist automotive industry of that era. As new generations of vehicles with increased engine power and improved handling made their way to the assembly line, they were already becoming outdated. The Dacia Logan became the successor to the 1310 model in 2004.
