Dacia Pick-Up – overview

The Dacia Pick-Up first saw the light of day in 1975 as a variant of the Dacia 1300 model, which in turn was based on the Renault 12. In 1982, the pickup was updated and a version with an extended cab and rear seating row was added. The next generation emerged in 1992, with a facelift in 1998. The final generation, with 2- or 4-door cabins, was produced in 2005-2006. The total circulation amounted to nearly 320,000 vehicles. The model was offered with either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive and engines of varying capacities, ranging from 1.3 to 1.9 liters. In 2004, the Dacia Pick-Up was succeeded by the Logan in a pickup body style, and the model's production ceased in 2006.
