Dacia Solenza – overview
Dacia Solenza – a subcompact liftback automobile produced by Romanian automaker Dacia from 2003 to 2005. Between 1995 and 2000, the car was known as Dacia Nova, and from 2000 to 2003 as Dacia Supernova. The model, outdated at the time of its inception, did not enjoy popularity, though it incorporated engines, transmissions, and several interior components from the second-generation Renault Clio. Two engines were offered: a 1.4-liter gasoline and a 1.9-liter diesel. The car was available in five trim levels, with the top-of-the-line Scala featuring air conditioning, power steering, and a driver's airbag. However, the most basic version didn't even have a tachometer. The car had an important mission: it was used to test new factory equipment, as the company was already planning the production of the new Logan model. A year after Logan's debut, the Solenza ceased to exist.
