Daewoo Matiz – overview
The Daewoo Matiz is a 5-door hatchback produced from 1998 to 2015. The subcompact car was developed in Korea on the basis of the Daewoo Tico, which, in turn, was a licensed version of the Suzuki Alto. In 2002, General Motors acquired Daewoo Motors and began selling Matiz under several brands. It was equipped with 0.8-liter engines with an output of 52 hp and eventually acquired 1.0-liter engines with 64 hp.
